A Letter to Yourself

Do you remember freshman year?  What were you like?  Who did you hope to become? In a letter, we're asking freshman to write a letter to themselves, to be kept in their file and given back to them just before graduation.  We'll provide paper and envelopes.  Explain what they're doing and then let them go.  Let them silently write and reflect. Come up with some prompts or questions and put them on the board.  Have them describe their strengths, weaknesses, what they want to do, what they want to do after high school, were they want to go to college, why, etc.  Be creative.

  • Envelopes will be in the mail room in packs of 28.   Paper will also be available.  Take or leave extra depending on your numbers.  Take the finished letters to the House of 2006.
